10/7/19- we are having intermittent problems with our phone system, please call 111 if your problem is urgent and you cannot get through. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.


Pease note we will be closed from 1pm on Thursday 11th July  for staff training. Due to confidentiality prescriptions will no longer be held by the pharmacy next door when we are closed.


 


Weekend and evening routine appointments are available at CHOC- click on extended access tab on the right.


 We are pleased to let you know that smear appointments can now be booked online. Please only book these appointments if you have received your invite. 


 

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
