Your Test Results

Test result are now available through the NHS app! if you register for the app you will be able to access it anytime to see your results.

Otherwise please request test results from reception by telephone between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. The receptionist will tell you if you need to speak to or see a doctor. Results can take between a few days and a few weeks to come back.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

Hospital doctor or consultant requested a scan, x-ray or blood tests?

Please note that scans, x-rays, blood results and other investigations go back to the clinicians requesting them. If you have a scan, x-ray, blood result etc that was requested by a doctor or department you are currently with at the hospital the results will go back to that clinician/department.
